NUT FREE

Cranberry-chia oat biscuits

The nut allergy contains two allergies; peanut & tree nut and they have the highest content of allergenic substances. Tree nut is typically the one which causes the allergy in most cases.

Peanuts are vegetables because they belong to the group of legumes. Depending on the degree of sensitivity, other legumes can cause allergic reactions too; soybeans, chickpeas, green peas.

Tree nuts include the following types; almonds, chestnuts, pistachios, pecans, macadamia nuts, Turkish hazelnuts, cashews and coconuts. Because these plants may be related to each other, the allergenic protein is different in variety of plants. However, some people are allergic to all nuts.

Cashew is the only tree nut found in my workshop. We pay special attention to the conditions of use and storage in order to avoid cross-contamination.

Only some of our oat biscuits contain cashew nuts, the other products are free of peanuts and tree nut products.
